What is the fastest crochet stitch?
Out of the four basic stitches, I believe the fastest crochet stitch is the double crochet stitch. The single crochet stitch is easy, but it’s a lot shorter than the double crochet stitch so it takes longer to work up. The double crochet is a tall stitch so it works up quicker. When you’re working on a project and you’re in the zone, the double crochet stitch is an easy stitch to crochet mindlessly – which then makes the project go by faster. It’s one of my favorites.
