Zootopia Inspired Easter Basket Crochet Pattern
Easter is near! When I was younger, my mom would put together Easter Baskets for us every year and each year had a different theme. It was always like another Christmas to wake up to. Well, maybe not that serious but she always went all out for every holiday. If you set up baskets for your children, they would love this Zootopia Inspired Easter Basket Crochet Pattern! Not only is it inspired by Zootopia, but it could also double as an Easter Egg Hunting Basket!
I’m going to tell you something crazy. The EARLIEST memory I have is when I was searching for Easter Eggs under my grandmother’s dining room table and I was CRAWLING! I honestly have no idea how I remember that because I have the worst memory in the world, but I do!
What’s your earliest memory?
As you know, my child is a toddler so I have seen every single animated movie, new and old, at least a hundred times each. Zootopia is one of the ONLY movies I had to force my son to watch because I loved it so much! Haha! He didn’t like it at first, but he sure does now! Zootopia is definitely one of my favorites because I love the message it sends. My favorite line is,
At the beginning of the movie when Judy is about the board the train to Zootopia, her dad whips out a bag full of “goodies.” Did you catch it? It honestly only pops up for like a second, but it caught my eye and I thought it would make the cutest Easter Egg Basket or just a basket that you can stuff all your Easter goodies in! Except let’s ixnay the pepper spray and tasers around the children, mkay? 😉

Assembly:
Sew on each piece with your tapestry needle as the photo shows below
For the handles, I sewed mine on from the inside with about 19 dc in between.
Nose:
After all of your pieces are assembled, use your tapestry needle and soft pink yarn to create the bunny’s nose by whip stitching back and forth until you’ve reached the desired look
I myself am a big kid. As much as I complain, I secretly love all animated kids movies. Back in the day, I would always draw cartoons of all kinds. Mostly Disney characters. So I thought it only fitting to include that style in my crochet work! I hope you enjoyed creating the Zootopia Inspired Easter Basket Crochet Pattern! This definitely won’t be the last Disney inspired crochet pattern!
