No one likes to feel sadness, but (just like all of our other emotions) it happens. The first step is to understand that your emotions are valid, no matter the cause. The next is to make something new. Great crochet projects to make when feeling sad are: something small, something you’ve never tried, something random or silly, or even trying a new stitch and making a washcloth out of it. There are lots of things you can make and you will find tons of ideas below.
You should also know that sometimes when we’re sad, we don’t feel like crocheting at all. And there’s nothing wrong with that! Sometimes it’s good to just take a break. Sit outside on a nice day and enjoy being in the moment, play video games, watch TV, try a different craft. You’re not alone.
