January Goals & Blogging Transition

Hello, hello! I hope youΒ had a WONDERFUL holiday! Today I will be covering two topics. I’m introducing a new type of post that I’llΒ be sharing with you every month, along with an explanation as to why I’ve chosen this new route! Are you ready for it?!

Blogging Transition

As you know, Sigoni Macaroni is currently focused on Crochet. Now I LOVE crochet, but lately I’ve been finding myself wanting to write about more.

I decided that at the beginning of the New Year I will be adding more Lifestyle and Parenting content! (as you could see from my New Years Resolution post last week πŸ˜‰ I will still be spoiling you with tons of free crochet patterns and tutorials as well, so don’t you worry about that! If you are ONLY interested in hearing about crochet related information, I created an email list just for you! You can sign up in the box below!

Thanks so much for your support in all this! You’re going to love what’s coming! πŸ˜‰

Monthly Goals

Now that we’ve gotten that announcement out of the way, It’s time to share something new that I’ll be doing every month this year! I am SUPER excited about it too.

Goal setting is extremely important to me. I set goals every day, every week, and every month and I encourage you to do the same! You could even make quarterly goals and of course, yearly goals!

Creating goals for yourself really keeps you focused on the task at hand! I have so much to say about goal writing that I could talk your ear off. Let’s get into my goal list for January.

My January Goals

  1. Create a consistent post schedule
  2. Post at least twice a week
  3. Start a YouTube channel
  4. Step up my Instagram game
  5. Design two crochet patterns
  6. Start an at-home preschool schedule
  7. Learn and implement the batching method
  8. Create a workout schedule (typical, eh?)
  9. Start meal prepping

What are your January goals? Did you choose a Resolution?

If you did choose a Resolution, have you seen my post onΒ 8 Ways to Conquer that Resolution like a BOSS! And if you haven’t chosen a Resolution, IΒ released a FREE 5-Day Mini E-Course: Create & CRUSHΒ that will help you choose the Perfect Resolution and I guarantee you will CRUSH it by the end of 2018. Even if you don’t believe in choosing a Resolution, this course has AMAZING information on how to choose and crush your goals. Find out more information by clicking the photo below!

I love the idea of splitting your goals into monthly goals instead of huge lofty goals that you need to accomplish in a years time. This is a great way to make goals more attainable (and have several you’ve accomplished by the end of the year!)

Yes definitely! And when you make a big goal that you want to accomplish by the end of the year, each month you can make smaller goals that contribute to you accomplishing that big goal! Like little steps πŸ™‚

Oh Monthly goals sounds a lot easier than weekly goals, what a great idea! I have a Book Review/promo blog, got two new clients so far, hope to get at least 2 more this month. I need glasses, another goal, so I can read faster. lol..Good luck and Happy New Year!
